How To Romance A Pantheon [April Daily Poem – Day 2]

Prompt: Brontide

If you’re an epic hero in need of advice

Listen to me to maintain paradise

If the gods you want to romance

Make an order before you dance

First, start with the god of thunder

Then you’ll avoid being torn asunder

As when you romance a new beau

He can’t come and cause you woe

Because, when he marches countrywide

He is proceeded by the brontide

So when you hear the thunder rumble

You know to end your current fumble

Be it with Aries, Aphrodite, or Calliope

You’ll have plenty of time to dress and flee

No matter the field, chamber, or bed

You’ll always stay one step ahead

So if you have a pantheon of gods to romance

Don’t be hasty and take a chance

First, have thrills with Thor

And then move on and conquer more.
