The hot air balloon is the best vehicle by far
It is larger than a truck and goes higher than a car
It rises majestically as it tries to touch the sky
And all the townsfolk cheer as they fly by
Alas, real birds are the jealous sort
And man’s attempts they try to thwart
As when you and your balloon reach a certain height
The seagulls will come to give you a fright
“Get out of the sky, you thumb-having meat,”
A million angry birds will tweet
“We fly up here to get away from you,”
They say as another flock comes out of the blue
The birds peck the balloon and make it burst
And you prepare for the worst
The balloon crashes and your passengers complain
