Prompt: Sight

Mirror, mirror on the wall
What do I even pay you for?
I ask “who is fairest of them all”
And your answers are so banal

You won’t shut up about Snow White
Almost like you’re her personal knight
A constant load of pretentious spew
I honestly think she’s paying you!

“She’s so pretty she’s so nice”
But you know she wouldn’t look at you twice
Her head is full of dandelions and lace
She doesn’t want a mirror with a face

Unlike me, who actually cares
I even display you near the nice chairs!
In return, you could be kind
And give me the answer I have in mind

But no, all you do is sass
Which is brave for someone made of glass
And if you continue to talk about Snow White
I’ll throw you at her out of spite.
