I’m Having Doubts About My Travel Agent [30 Days Of Poetry – Day 10]

Prompt: Chaos

The tour guide lied, to be frank
She promised Panic! At The Disco
But I got Chaos! In The merchant bank
And we got lost in San Francisco

I don’t think she’s who she says she is
Her badge and ID look terribly fake
She made me take, a 50 state quiz
And asked what locks I could break

She promised us an epic pub crawl
And then without a single frown
Went to the bank and blew up the wall
She charged in and tied the guards down

“Quickly quickly, get the gold” she yelled
We quickly ran in through the soot and the haze
To the place where the money was held
Put it into bags and then ran out in a daze

After a bit, I was caught by the police
And instantly my holiday was cut short.
I wanted to go to Greece.
But I’ve ended up in court

I think I’ll go to Disney next year.
